Thus, we are tentatively planning to begin accepting applications for Summer 2021 Positions, on February 1, 2021; interviews will begin in February 2021 through until the end of March 2021… at which time we will know more about allowed and expected activities due to Covid-19 restrictions. 2021 SUMMER APPLICATIONS We will begin accepting applications on February 1, 2021; interviews will begin in February 2021 through until the end of March 2021… at which time we will know more about allowed and expected activities due to Covid-19 restrictions. 2021 SUMMER APPLICATIONS PROCESS Important Dates for Spring & Summer Students February 1, 2021 - Application online … there will be a minimal number of Positions & Roles; primarily in Children’s & Youth Ministries. Mid-February, 2021 - Interviews begin VIRTUALLY… and some In-Person, as Public Health Guidelines dictate. Offers may be sent out as early April 1, 2021. Interviews will continue until positions are filled. Mid-May or June 2021 - CORE Spring Crew begins (arrival at Fair Havens).... NOT Sure of DATE. May 21-24, 2021 (Friday to Monday) - Stepping Stones Orientation Weekend. June 27, 2021 - Stepping Stones Development Week. July 3, 2021 - Start of Stepping Stones Summer Work Term. Reminders * Standard Police Checks are required for all Stepping Stones students, age 18 years and older. They must be current and issued within the 2020 or 2021 calendar year. Important Dates for Spring & Summer Students November 25th, 2019 - Applications will go live. Dec. 2019 - March 2019 - Interview Dates (Coordinator, CORE Applicants will be interviewed ASAP). April 1, 2020 - All Contracts Issued (Coordinator & CORE contracts issued mid-late February). May 2, 2020 - Spring Crew Arrival / Start Date. May 15-18, 2020 - May Long Orientation Weekend! *Mandatory for all Staff. June 27 - July 3, 2020 - Orientation Week! * Mandatory for all Staff July 4, 2020 - Start of Summer Family Camp at Fair Havens! August 22, 2020 - SIT's Contract Ends (may stay til End of Conference if desired and invited). September 5, 2020 - End of Summer Family Camp at Fair Havens, STAND - COORD Contract ends. -- 2020/2021 INTERNSHIP The Internship Program is designed for Christian young adults, ages 18-25, to train future leaders in a variety of ministries (Outdoor Education, Hospitality/Retreats, and Trades/Maintenance).
